A professional sculptor and painter, Benoi Deschênes received his education in sculpting and in art education, which led to the teaching of High School art classes. In 1971, he opened his own studio, then he founded the Woodcarving School in 1975. Several of his works are exhibited in public places or are part of private collections. He is the author of The Magic Gouge and Sculpture 3D.

David Deschênes

A professional sculptor and painter, David Deschênes has been woodcarving since 1990. At first serving as assistant at the Deschênes Woodcarving School, he has taught there for over ten years. His artistic mastery and his personal approach are greatly appreciated by his students.
